Mail-In Repairs – How It Works

At Hardware Healers, we make mail-in repairs simple and risk-free. If you’re not located near Lindsay, Ontario, you can send your device to us from anywhere in Canada.

Here’s how the process works from start to finish.

Select Your Repair

Browse our website and find the repair or upgrade that matches your device.

We repair and upgrade:

  • PlayStation consoles and controllers
  • Xbox consoles and controllers
  • Nintendo consoles and controllers
  • Meta VR

Once you find the repair you need, simply add it to your cart and complete checkout.

Because we offer a No Fix, No Pay policy, checkout is currently set to $1 to confirm your order.

Confirmation & Shipping Instructions

After checkout you will receive:

✔ A confirmation email
✔ A thank you email with a shipping guide

This guide will explain:

  • What items to send
  • What NOT to send (cables, accessories, etc.)
  • The best way to package your device safely
  • Address to ship your device to

Once you receive this email, you can package your device and ship it to us. You are responsible for package and paying to ship us your device, unless you purchased a pre paid shipping kit.

Device Arrival

When your package arrives, we will send you an email confirmation letting you know your device has arrived safely and that the repair process is beginning.

 Repair Process

We will diagnose and complete the repair based on the service you selected.

Hardware Healers specializes in:

  • Controller stick drift repair
  • HDMI port replacement

  • Micro-soldering and board-level repairs
  • Console hardware repairs

If anything unexpected comes up during the repair, we will contact you before proceeding.

Repair Complete & Invoice

Once your repair is complete, we will send you an email notification along with an invoice for the repair.

The invoice amount will match the price listed on our website.

Payment & Return Shipping

Once payment is received, your device will be securely packaged and shipped back to you.

You will receive:

  • A shipping confirmation email
  • A tracking number

All repair prices listed on our website include return shipping.

Warranty

All repairs performed by Hardware Healers include a 60-day warranty for your peace of mind.
